How to be present in this moment

How to be present in this moment

Hello, you beautiful soul. Grab a cuppa or wine, I have a thought for you to ponder.

Are you fully present in this moment? I’m guessing you’re not. I get it, life is impossibly busy and you know what, that’s ok.

Over the past month I have been testing something out for you. I love the results and I’m excited to share it with you. Get this, I have found a way to slow down time. YES I really did just say that, but wait, let me explain.

During the first 6 months of Cove’s life I was freaking out – time was going waaaayyyy too fast and I felt scared. Scared that I was not appreciating the magical moments enough and scared that I would forget it all.

Does this familiar? Maybe you experience this when you go on holidays – I know I do, especially for the first couple of days. But focusing on time like this, is a negative way of thinking and that’s no longer me, I’m all about positivity.

Pause, Breath, Treasure

So let’s talk about what I call ‘Pause, Breath, Treasure’ yes this is the very thing that slows down time for me. When I find myself in a magical moment such as a cuddle from my loves, enjoying my favourite meal or sailing. I pause, take a deep breath and treasure how incredible this moment is. I focus on the details, like the size of their small body’s pressing into mine, the earthy smells of their sun bleached blonde hair, how their skin feels like silk and truly just how happy I am in this very moment.

The key is to not think about anything else so that you can be truly happy and present in this moment.

This has been an incredible discovery for me. My gosh my food taste amazing, especially that chicken vindaloo. WOW my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

You could give it a try now. Pause, take a deep breath, open your heart and feel the love and joy flow through. Truly experience everything in this moment.

With love,
